Service Description:
The types of media I employ include watercolor, pencil, acrylic, oils to name a few. In addition to the many traditional tools, the computer adds an endless variety to my imagination. Photoshop, Freehand and Painter programs provide new opportunities for my images. My styles are as varied as my interests, from cute children's books to masculine textile design, from decorative floral motifs to contemporary moving graphics.
Following graduation from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, PA I moved from my home town in Butler, PA to the Cleveland suburb of Strongsville, Ohio. My twenty year career on staff as an illustrator at American Greetings Cards, Inc provided me with the knowledge and experience I now rely on to run my own studio. The title of ILLUSTRATOR encompasses quite an array of talents including: character design, product display, imaginative portraiture, wallpaper, gift wrap and textile design, logo and corporate identity, graphic design, imagery collage, product themes, portraiture, stained glass design and ornamental sculpture.
I love children, animals and nature. I've been drawing as long as I can remember.
Chalkboard Studio is a dream come true for me. My husband Dave and four children, Jordan, Hannah, Aaron and Joshua all possess the creative gene.
