I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently reside in a suburb just outside of town. While earning a BA in art from Penn State University, I learned to work in traditional as well as digital mediums. Drawing inspiration from such artists as H.R. Giger, Michael Whelan, Norman Rockwell, and Calvin and Hobbes creator Bill Waterson, my favorite subject matter ranges form sci-fi fantasy art, to cartooning, to animal and human portraiture. My other passion in life is playing the drums for local bands and recording sessions.  The majority of my recent work consists mostly of book covers and book illustrations for a local publishing company, but I pride myself on being a diverse enough artist with enough expereince at different media to handle just about any project.
