My name is Sara Noto, and I’m a graphic designer with over eight years of experience, hoping to become the solution to all of your graphic design needs. My design philosophy is equal parts fun and functionality. My personal work incorporates every influence, from Asian art to hip 50’s retro, but I balance all that with a sense of clean, efficient minimalism. The same way, I combine a sense of fun experimentation with a tireless work ethic that I look forward to offering to all my clients. I believe that artistry and functionality go hand in hand; in my design, I never allow expression to trump functionality, just as efficiency should never overwhelm aesthetic quality. My greatest ability as a designer, which I look so forward to offering to you, is this sense of balance. This balance is further reflected in my work ethic: all my clients can look forward to a professional relationship based on honesty, respect, and accountability.
I have dual degrees in Art Studio and Graphic Design technology, but I am proudest of my strongest qualification: 13 years of real-world design experience. My credentials range from magazine publication design to logo design to website development, with all points in between. In my portfolio, you can see for yourself the true variety of my professional experience, working in a variety of media with a variety of goals.
To the end of being the most competent, efficient, and versatile designer possible, I am up-to-date with all the latest design technology for creating publications, flyers, posters, logos, ads, and more. I am proficient in Quark XPress, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator – mainstays of the print design industry – as well as web publishing software including Dreamweaver, and Flash.
