My name is Edison Goncalves and I have 23 Years experience in Animation as well as illustration and Character Design. I have worked on many animated feature films including Dreamworks "Spirit", 20th Century Fox "Anastasia" and most recently Universal Studios "Curious George". I also was a directing animator for the short film "Rindin the Puffer" which won several awards including Family International Film festival in California, 2D or not 2D Animation Festival in Washington, Hampton International Film Festival in NY and two Gold Telly Awards in 2007.

I have designed many characters for movies, websites and gaming companies. I have also done 4 coloring books , as well as full illustrations for children's books. My experience also includes two years in Marketing and Advertising and works in countries like Ireland and Brazil. Currently I'm a classical 2D Animator and I part-time teacher at Scottsdale Community College and UAT (University of Advancing Technology) in Tempe Arizona.

My approach to the job is simple. I work very close to the client, getting the rough drawings approved first before going to final design and color. My goal is to make sure the client is 100% happy with the work before going to the next step.
