I am a published writer, with a current and active career in internal business communications, creative writing and popular journalism.  My goal is to meet or exceed the highest standards in all types of writing, including interviews, features, profiles, pre/reviews, press releases, persuasion, explication, fiction, biography, business letters, resumes, product reviews and business/technical document construction.  I am familiar with various desktop publishing programs and use them with facility. I enjoy conveying ideas with style, precision and clarity, developing writing plans, analyzing and organizing written messages with emphasis on flair, panache, grace and correctness.

Since I am familiar with standard and innovative teaching practices, I am able to apply these skills to communicate with readers. Well-versed in the selection of materials appropriate to various reading levels and interests, I am resourceful in motivating reading audiences to enjoy the printed word, develop awareness of organizational goals and their own facility to contribute appropriately. I believe my writing is instrumental in helping them to access information, enjoy learning, make informed choices and find enrichment in their personal and professional lives.

Effective in public speaking situations, including interview, persuasion and presentation of ideas, I have been successful in translating teaching skills to working with subjects, publishers and editors, including developing productive rapports based on mutual respect and understanding. I am quick to assess needs and work towards viable solutions.
