Thanks for taking the time to read my job biography.

I'm an illustrator with a strong background in animation. I have twenty years experience in this industry, and specialise in storyboarding, character design and layout. Storyboarding has taught me a lot about staging and expression, and I use this in my other work.

I've also worked as a concept artist for many TV game shows, and have illustrated several children's books, with a couple more in the pipeline.

I've just finished a two year stint as the Assistant Director of a children's tv show called 'The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about that' where I coordinated and fixed designs to keep them in the Seussian style as well as reviewing storyboarding and animation for the project.

Prior to that I was a storyboard artist for New York based company 'Little Airplane', producers of '3rd and Bird and The Wonderpets'. Storyboarding was executed in Flash, and each board artist synched their work up to the episode soundtrack.

As an illustrator I mainly use coloured pencils or Photoshop, often combining the two. I'm interested in disguising the digital nature of the images when possible.

Over the years, I've learned a very large range of styles, from loose and painterly to tight and realistic, simple line drawing to rich, highly rendered colour work.

I'm based in London, but have used the internet to work for many international clients, and I hope to continue this!

I'm a dedicated worker, and have always done whatever I can to meet the expectations of my clients.
