 I work as a certified art teacher, and pursue my own art on the side with freelance work and commissioned pieces.
 I am mostly an oil painter and an illustrator.  I can also paint wall murals in acrylic and I dabble in watercolor. I enjoy and appreciate many other art forms, and consider myself to be multi-talented in many different types of media.  
 When drawing, I work in pencil, pastel(oil or chalk),charcoal, pen and ink, and can create some great effects with colored pencils.
 With sculpture, I specialize in smaller subjects in clay, polymer clay, and metal.
 The subject matter I can work with is everything from portraits, landscapes, still lifes, cartoons, animals, nature, and more abstract subjects.
 I can also work in many different artistic styles such as realistic, abstract, impressionistic, symbolic, imaginary/fantastical, simplistic, and cartoonish.
 I think communication is key!  I am very flexible and easy going...whatever is easiest for you will work for me.Your satisfaction is guaranteed!
