I am a one-man company with over 8 years experience in graphic design, and 4 years experience in 3D Animation/Modeling and Compositing.  Since I followed my wife to the wilds of northern Alberta, I have found the need for my 3D skills somewhat under-requested, but my graphics skills have been well used.  I have kept my practice up with my 3D skills as this is my true passion, and am excited about the opportunities I might find with iFreelance.com.  

I obtained my diploma from Vancouver Film School in 3D Animation and Effects in 2002.  Their program was extensive and exhaustive, and gave me an excellent foundation in 2-D Animation, Storyboarding, 3-D Animation, Modelling, and Compositing.  This foundation allowed me to make my own demo reel, which I am continually refining as I gain new skills.  For examples of my work, please visit my website at w2creative.net.

I am a very creative individual who routinely "thinks outside the box" for inspiration and has meticulous attention to detail.  I enjoy a challenge and have discovered an innate talent for work-arounds, as I like to get what it is I am after, even if the software doesn't quite know how to give it to me.  I have done considerable green screen work for my own demo reel projects, and have a green screen set up in my house. (My wife is very patient!)  I have found what works with green screen, and almost more importantly, what doesn't.

This is my first opportunity to really promote my 3D/VFX skills, and I am excited and eager to work on your project.  Although I haven't had a lot of paid experience, that does not mean I lack the skills to satisfy the most discerning client.  I am willing and able to work hard, meet deadlines, and do my best to provide an absolute top-quality product.  Give me a shot, and I won't disappoint.

My rate is $35/hour, but I am willing to negotiate, depending on the project.
