Alerts are our way of letting you know when something important happened, relative to your account on iFreelance.com. For instance, freelancers are sent "Project Match" alerts whenever projects are posted to our website. iFreelance.com supports over 20 types of alerts with varying priority levels and purposes.
Any alerts you receive can be found in your private "My Messages" section of the website. Alerts can be monitored and read from this section of the website, but if you miss any alerts, we can notify you via email. You have
full control over how we email you regarding alerts. You can opt to receive an email as soon as alerts arrive in your inbox, receive a nightly email containing a summary of your unread alerts, or even opt to not receive alert emails at all.
To access your alerts, please follow these steps:
- Login.
- Open "My Messages" by clicking the corresponding link on the main menu.
- Click on the "Alerts" tab.
- To open any specific alert, click on the alert.
