The primary category of a project cannot be changed, but you can modify the project's subcategory. Because several items relate to the category of a project (bids, alerts, etc.), system integrity would be violated if the category could be changed.

If your project must be listed in a different category, you will need to cancel the existing project and post a new project with the correct category.
