Description: I need a portrait done, but not a completely accurate portrait.  It will be of me, but it will be of me in an absurdly epic situation, i.e. slaying a giant whale with a harpoon/tridant like in Moby Dick, fighting a Troy-like battle in full armor, or sitting atop a neighing horse with a saber drawn reminiscent of Napolean, cutting through the jungle brush with a machete followed by tribals like Allan Quartermain, or just standing regally in uniform.  We can discuss which if any of these you're more comfortable doing, or something different entirely.  What's important is that you can get my face in detail, at least to the point that it's undeniably me given the nature of the situation I'd be in in the portrait.  Guess it's really just more of a painting than a portrait.  I'd email you several pictures of me and an idea of what I want, etc.

Description: The bid is for the work on wine label for a new item for one of my wine brands. I have a picture that I would like converted to a black and white portrait with a few modifications.  The finished product will be only 3" x 3" and given to me as a hi res digital file.

Due to the nature and concept of this label, it is likely not to get approved by the Bureau of Alcohol.  I am a very small company and am not going to spend more than $400 on this project.  Hopefully less.

Description: We are looking for a talented artist who is up for the challenge and who wants to earn a quick buck. Our client likes the attached painting but would like a more "modern" touch to it. The overall painting needs to be in a landscape format (it will be scaled down to approx. 6"wide x 2.5"high). The painting needs to be bright and friendly.

* The final painting must NOT look like the attached file but needs to have the elements it has: man and woman, woman needs to have a flower in her hand (you know the he loves me, he loves me not flower... what are they called again??)... the background should be somewhat similar to the attached and the surroundings should have some bushes with flowers. I think that if the man had a lighter jacket on, rather than black - it would brighten up the entire scene a bit.

This project would be perfect for those of you who use Painter X as a drawing/painting tool. The reason is that it would be nice if things were kept in layers in case we need to adjust things, such as the background or bushes, later on.

The style of the attached painting is too "old" for the client. Please show me some examples of what you feel that would fit to this project. If you don't have anything to show, please do not bid. If I see a style that I feel fits, I will announce the winner right then and there so we can start. This initial drawing/painting is for us to show the client. There maybe changes to do later on. That is why the whole "layer" thing would help.

** Time is a major factor here. I need something eye-catching to show him by the end of this week! I will answer emails as soon as I get them to direct you in the way we need to go to save us both time so it shouldn't be a problem.

I do require an invoice from the winner. All rights to the drawing go to me.
