Description: Two Cat Studio (Ann and Mike Hosch - proprietors) is a custom sculpture vendor service that creates 3-dimensional images for architects and architectural detail companies, art directors, sculptors, designers, builders, installers and the entertainment industry.
 We carve and fabricate in all the different weight foams, wood and plaster, and model in waterbased clay and plastilinas. We do research, design development, maquettes, prototypes, models, molds and casts.

'Dance Marathon' directed by Richard Taylor (Man in white hat, lower left image) who also designed and puppeteered the puppets for this commercial. Done for Stetson Visual Services. Boy jitterbug partner modelled by Kent Jones, girl modelled by Mike Hosch. On camera puppets are painted, articulated fiberglass.
Fertility is one of two 12 foot high niche figures made by Moonlight Molds, Inc. for the new Trevi fountain at Ceasars Palace, Las Vegas, NV.
The Jester figures were more than heroic scale (The lower leg from top of knee to bottom of foot measured 9 feet long). So big, that four and five sculptors could work on them at the same time without crowding. Sculpture team included Christoph Rittershausen, Wayne Strong, James Jones, Sara Huber, Jamie Miller, J. Bryan Holloway, Jim Van Houten, Dave Tye, John Schlender, Steve Pinney and Mike Hosch.
In the film the City of Nagada looks huge (Thousands of buildings). In reality we built - carved twelve spray foam buildings from sixty feet high to 20 feet high. There was a clever miniature set that had about fifty buildings - computers did the rest. The huge main wooden gate by The Stone Bros. 'What-a-set'. log bridges by Big Log Dick, steel tube frames by Harry Heeks and his London crew.
Ann finishing a 12' figure carved in 2 Lb. polyurethane foam. The figure, titled "Fertility", is a model for a fiberglass installation for the new Trevi fountain at Ceasars Palace, Las Vegas, NV.

Description: I have been sculpting professionally for over twenty years specializing in lost wax bronze casting but can and will work in other mediums. Most of my work is  commission for corporate and private clients. I have a large body of work in galleries across the country and abroad but I prefer work for hire, it tends to pay the bills.

I provide design, prototype, creation, mold making, installation of fine art or any type of sculpture from miniature to monumental as well as custom patina or weatherproof paint finishes. I work closely with several foundries in California through every stage of production and am an expert in all foundry processes, including mold making, wax pour and cleaning, sprue systems, ceramic shell, de-wax, metal pour, welding, chasing and final finish.
