NKDEP is designed to reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by kidney disease and its complications by raising awareness of the disease, the importance of testing those at high risk, and treatment to prevent or slow kidney failure. Contributing author/writer of several reports, incl. the Baseline Report (provided), Strategic Plan (nkdep.nih.gov/about/reports/strategicplan_508.pdf), Defining Audiences (nkdep.nih.gov/about/reports/031501_strategicreport.pdf).

Booklet written for parents whose child has been diagnosed with cancer. It gives parents information on all stages of illness, describes what to expect, and suggests ways to prepare for different situations. It can help guide parents on ways to be their child’s best advocate or supporter during and after treatment and provides extensive resources for further information.

Speech plus accompanying Power Point slides describing final MQSA regulations, updates and amendments to the initial regs, and related inspection guidance from the FDA. Developed and written for health professionals and facilities in consultation with DMQRP/CDRH/FDA staff. Part of a multi-tiered outreach, dissemination, and educational campaign.

Tells the story behind the story of Sullivan Ballou - aithor of the "Dear Sarah Letter" during the American Civil War

This is the story of Benett H. Young, CSA who conducted the northernmost raid of the Civil War. In October, 1864, he and his small band struck three banks in St. Alban, VT and escaped to Canada. When purseud by Union troops, the action nearly brought England into the war on the side of the Confederacy.

A press release I wrote illustrating why Apples of Gold gives you a fair deal even with higher gold prices.

This is a press release for a song which I co-authored with a D-Day veteran. I recorded it and a couple of other pieces on a short CD, the profits of which went to the D-Day National Memorial. Featured in the French-produced documentary, "The Long March of Bob Slaughter".
