I started doing freelance work mostly because I needed the extra money, but now I find that I really enjoy doing more than just getting extra income. It gives me a chance to reach out and meet more people and network my abilities.

I am currently the Estimating Manager at B & B Designed Systems in Orbisonia, PA and will be able to provide estimating services as well. I do not have access to my cell phone so the best way to reach me during work hours is my e-mail.

I have an associate's degree in Machine drafting and currently attending college at Grantham University for my Bachelor's in electrical engineering. I have been doing AutoCAD since 1993 while I was in highschool.

This was a simple redesign of a house that was built in FL, but had to be completely redrawn from prints.
This is a renovation of a small house that was originally going to be a roof renovation project. Once the roof was removed however, the builder noticed that the walls were in unstable condition and constructed poorly so the entire back of the house was removed. This design shows the new construction that matched closely to the original design.

Description: I have over 20 years experience designing parts in the aerospace, medical and mechanical engineering fields. I have help many inventors realize their inventions using 3D and 2D Computer Aided Design and Drafting methods. I can quickly create a 3D model to help visualize the concept and then manufacture a prototype. This will allow the product to take shape quickly in order that the final design be solidified and brought to market.

Rapid Prototyping is my specialty. If a 3D model can be made of the product, then a fully functional prototype part can be made within days. Usually made from plastic, the prototype parts can be fitted with motors and batteries or machined, drilled tapped and painted in order that a fully funtioning prototype can be shown to prospective investors, manufacturers or buyers.

I can also create moving mechanisms of assemblies in order that any bugs be worked out of them before any physical parts are made. This saves time and money. Exploded views with labeling can be made in order to create instructions for assembly.

Strength and vibrations analysis can be done. Either hand calculations or 3D models will be analyzed depending on the compexity of the parts and/or assemblies. Materials can be substituted in the analysis in order to optimize the design for strength, manufacturability and cost.

Portfolio:
3D UG model of a plastic bottle with actual part thicknesses. All features modeled in order for an injection mold to be NC manufactured directly from the model. Words are modeld with actual thicknesses from projected text patterns onto 3D bottle surfaces.
Sector for controlling ailerons for an aircraft. The aluminum forging is finally machined to tight tolerances to accept bearings and fittings at final assembly. Most tolarances are within .002 inches some within .0005.
This clamp assembly is made from various standard parts and specialty standard parts and cast metal pieces. The clamp is adjustable to fit a variety of shafts and rods as needed. The clamping mechanism is a over-the-center locking type to hold true and be unlocked simply by flipping the handle. This type of clamp is similar to a clamp on a bicycle seat post. It can be designed to any size and with a variety of materials depending on the application.
This assembly of parts was made directly from 3D models and standard parts such as screws, electric motor and metal electrical contacts. The parts were taken directly from the Stereo Lithography or STL machine and "stuffed" with the standard parts. The 3D CAD models, prototypes and working assembly was made within 4 days (about 36 hours of work. It proved the concept completely and production parts were being made within 6 months.
3D solid model of a baseball catchers mask. Made of plastic and steel wire, molds were directly taken from these models to make the plastic vacuum form and the steel wire forming tools. The shape was taken from percentile man/woman 3D solid models scanned into UG. The internal size was expanded to leave room for foam inserts and nylon straps.
