I have been self employed as an Electrical Engineer contractor/consultant since 2003.

I am an Electrical Engineer (MSEE) with 20+ years of experience in designing electronics for unique embedded applications. I have designed microprocessor circuits that fit into a 1/4" tube. My primary focus is the design and production of small embedded microprocessor applications.

My company can provide turnkey design services, from circuit design to assembly and test. I also have management experience on projects where engineers were geographically separated.

I have designed circuit boards and plastic enclosures for electronic devices, as well as motion control and servo mechanisms. I have SolidWorks in house for 3D modeling. I have Mentor Graphics PADS software for schematic entry and PCB design. I have experience with UL, FDA, CSA, and other regulatory agencies.

Description: My design & engineering firm is very strong in multi-discipline areas. We have mechanical, electronic, computer and software, applied mechanics and structural engineers. We also have extensive experience developing Analog and Digital electronics for instrumentation and medical electronics, we write our own microprocessor control software code and have two burn-in stations.

In addition, my firm has extensive experience in designing products with plastic injection molded parts. We have been using 3D modeling, SolidWorks and ProE for many years so that the database can be used to produce the prototype using rapid prototyping techniques and then the final database is used to manufacture the required tooling. Our consultants have designed numerous very complicated plastic housings for the battery operated hand drill industry, plastic housings for instruments, plastic components, handles, etc for medical instruments and devices.

We have strong manufacturing connections in the USA and overseas and are presently bringing in electronic and plastic parts as components and, totally completed, tested and packaged electro-mechanical products from China. We have a number of suppliers that are presently manufacturing packed PC boards for our clients.
