Previous Industrial Experience:
1973–1993: Twenty years with Wurth UK. starting as the second salesman, I moved into area then national sales management building up to and running the direct sales force of 150 sales consultants, making the company the market leader in the UK. Becoming Sales and Managing Director in1988 controlling the British companies of the International German group for five years until leaving in early 1993 to start my first training business.
After that I spent four years as an independent Course Director for the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing)
I started Human Capital Development Ltd. with my friend of many years Sean Hutton, The company is a test publisher specialising in psychometric measurements and tests. (2001 - present) When needed we put together effective in-house selection and assessment centres including our normative tests and measurements.
International sales and training experience has taken me around the world several times selling and training in twelve countries to date including Japan and Russia.
