Looking for graphic artist/web designer to create 2-4 background graphics (toolbars, buttons, etc), and 5-10 accompanying graphic icons for an iPhone web application. We are writing a web app for a wine establishment using iUi for iPhone. We are looking for a few things:

1. A background that looks like a wooden wine rack as such

This background should repeat vertically like a list, so we can populate them as the background image of a list tag. Background must be width of the iPhone Safari screen.

2. Wine bottles (picture image desired) laying horizontal with white label on them (on white label we will populate some text information). Wine bottles should fit inside slots on wooden wine rack (see above). White label of wine bottle should be at least 30-40 characters in width (hopefully we can adjust after we see initial image) and be able to display at least 2 lines of text.

"Photos"
"Map"

(If possible also:)
"red wine icon"
"white wine icon"

Icons should feel modern and polished. Overall theme is black/dark theme like the Nasa App for iPhone: (http://images.spaceref.com/news/2009/oonasa.iphone.jpg).

We are a San Francisco based startup that develops apps for facebook and other social networks. We are currently in the process of developing a flash game and need an elite front-end UI designer to help us make the product intuitive, polished, and fun!

The ideal candidate would:
-Be fluent in HTML and CSS
-Be very comfortable wireframing and designing user flows for web applications
-Have experience using Photoshop, Fireworks, or equivalent to create static mockups
-Thrive working remotely with a process that is highly iterative, fast-paced and requires timely delivery
-Take the initiative on designing UI features with a high-level understanding of the product's goals
-Strong communication skills are essential
-Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and Flash is a plus

I posted a similar project a few weeks ago. Our first desires were not within our budget.

We have decided to go with a configurator that displays our car with still images rather than our 3D dream.

We would like a user interface that will display a few images at different angles of the exterior and interior of our car. We would like these images to change colors and styles (on-the-fly if possible) with each choice that is made by the user.

There will be five configurable categories, plus color choices for each if applicable:

1) lights & exhaust arrangements for the front and rear of the car. (3-7 possible selections)
2) Interior styles. (3-7 possible selections)
3) Wheels/Rims & Calipers (40 possible selections - we are willing to start with 15)
4) Spoilers/Wings (3 - 7 possible selections)
5) Body Decals like Racing Stripes, hood scoops, etc. (5 - 15 possible selections)

This application should...
- allow a car to be customized & saved for future editing by the user.
- calculate the prices of the users selections and be able to export these variables to an e-commerce engine.
- have a first class, innovative, & most important user-friendly interface.
- provide a backend administration system allowing us to add an remove customizable parts. Perhaps some areas will be limited due to graphic requirements.
- be well documented and PHP/MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, & AS3 is preferred.

Our budget is not flexible beyond that provided. If you feel any of these requirements are not attainable within this budget please itemize your proposal.

Our timeframe is also not flexible. It must be completed on time.

Payments will be made according to the weekly milestones you set. Payments will not be made in advance at any percentage - just like any other service business (Plumbers, Electricians, etc...). Do not bid if you do not agree.
