Description: We are a San Francisco based startup that develops apps for facebook and other social networks.  We are currently in the process of developing a flash game and need an elite front-end UI designer to help us make the product intuitive, polished, and fun!

The ideal candidate would:
-Be fluent in HTML and CSS
-Be very comfortable wireframing and designing user flows for web applications
-Have experience using Photoshop, Fireworks, or equivalent to create static mockups
-Thrive working remotely with a process that is highly iterative, fast-paced and requires timely delivery

Description: I posted a similar project a few weeks ago. Our first desires were not within our budget.

We have decided to go with a configurator that displays our car with still images rather than our 3D dream.

We would like a user interface that will display a few images at different angles of the exterior and interior of our car. We would like these images to change colors and styles (on-the-fly if possible) with each choice that is made by the user.

There will be five configurable categories, plus color choices for each if applicable:

1) lights & exhaust arrangements for the front and rear of the car. (3-7 possible selections)
2) Interior styles. (3-7 possible selections)
3) Wheels/Rims & Calipers (40 possible selections - we are willing to start with 15)
4) Spoilers/Wings (3 - 7 possible selections)
5) Body Decals like Racing Stripes, hood scoops, etc.  (5 - 15 possible selections)

This application should...
- allow a car to be customized & saved for future editing by the user.
- calculate the prices of the users selections and be able to export these variables to an e-commerce engine.
- have a first class, innovative, & most important user-friendly interface.
- provide a backend administration system allowing us to add an remove customizable parts. Perhaps some areas will be limited due to graphic requirements.
- be well documented and PHP/MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, & AS3 is preferred.

Our budget is not flexible beyond that provided. If you feel any of these requirements are not attainable within this budget please itemize your proposal.

Our timeframe is also not flexible. It must be completed on time.

Payments will be made according to the weekly milestones you set. Payments will not be made in advance at any percentage - just like any other service business (Plumbers, Electricians, etc...).  Do not bid if you do not agree.

Description: Very reputable company in the greater Boston area is looking for a dynamic web UI Designer.  The company is well grounded in the mobile and web space and is working on some cutting edge technical products.  They are working on a very high profile product and are in need of a strong designer to help them.

They need a strong UI Designer that has worked on large scale websites, preferably web portals, although that is not a must.  They need a seaseoned web UI designer who can put together prototypes, get immediate end user feedback and mold the product based off this feedback  If the person has CSS and HTML coding experience, that is a big plus.

This is a 5-6 month long contract.  The company will not pay any travel expenses, so it's important the candidates is in the Boston area.  The company is looking for an independent contractor, not an agency.

Description: Hi everyone,

I am looking for someone to lend a hand to my design team in mocking up 2 screens for two different mobile widgets.

The design is obviously going to be very simple a clean, keeping mind that the platform does support css3 so subtle shading and gradients are acceptable.

For an example of what is expected, just look at any "functional" iPhone app, these aren't games. One is a Mom and baby, nursing app and the other is about phobias.

I need this today and hopefully there is someone out there that can help. If all goes well, we will require to develop all of the artwork within the next 3 days and we would obviously prefer to keep with the original designer.
