Description: Seeking experienced "out of the box thinking" engineer to help develop new, lightweight, water resistant, UV resistant, wind resistant, heat resistant, fire retarding, corrosion resistant, stain resistant, washable, scratch resistant, impact resistant, ultra long lasting, incredibly strong "green" or "greenish" (meaning environmentally friendly) cladding material to replace stucco, siding etc.  

Clad material will be cost effectively manufactured, able to be easily mass produced using existing  technology abroad (Mexico preferably), come in lightweight tile sheets of varying sizes, varying finish surface colors, thicknesses, surface finish designs and patterns, to be adhesively applied or mechanically fastened over the waterproofing membrane of new or remoddled buildings, commercial or residential.  Tiles will be cut to exact size on the jobsite, using circular saw or equivalent.  Easily and quickly installed.  Extremely professional look.

Engineer will have extensive knowlege about manufacturing with polymers, under heat, pressure etc. using exotic materials like recycled glass, recycled plastic/rubber or who knows what???  Know how to locate a reliable manufacturer abroad, test the finished product for strength, corrosion, moisture, heat, fire, etc. and will assist in obtaining the neccessary goverment certifications and/or industry certifications.

A patent on the process that I own or is assigned to my company would be preferable and desired.

Related experience is definately a plus.  I am looking to do this at a REASONABLE cost, hence iFreelance and not a big engineering firm.  Contact me if you've got the drive, enthusiasm, experience and don't need a fortune.
