Description: We are looking for a vendor to develop a Flash-based user-friendly editor for a set of config data in XML format.

1. Load (decode) and save (encode) the XML

The Editor is designed to:
* perform a basic authentication (user id and password) via HTTP to the server, which we will provide, and read XML data via HTTP.
* decode XML data and covert it to an internal data structure e.g. Hashtable or Vector
* enable the user to navigate the data and update
* reflect the update to the internal data structure
* encode XML from the data, then issue a HTTP call to the server to save the XML

2. Data navigation and value update

After decoding, the data will be displayed in a tree-like structure to the users.

Please note that the editor loads and saves XML but the data is not presented to the users in XML – this is not an “Editor of XML”

Most of the data entities are text values. However, some entity attributes define associations to other entities, so that some linking are needed to enable smooth navigation, as well as data update, amongst those entities

3. Map

One of the entities in the XML data is a map, thus a “Map Builder” module is needed for updating that particular entity data.

The Map is not complicated, it is like (0 and 1 represent different types of tiles)
