I am looking for an individual with sufficient expertise in the field of applied fluid dynamics to provide me with an initial consultation in which I may elaborate my needs and receive some initial advice.
I require guidance in developing a deeper understanding of certain issues relating to practical applications of materials with specific viscosities: how such fluids behave under certain circumstances, etc.
This bid will require less than an hour's work -- but of course I am prepared to pay your full standard hourly fee. After having you sign an NDA, I will describe the application at hand and seek your professional advice on the best available means to implement the application, comparing the relative merits and costs of the various alternatives.
Depending upon the outcome of this initial consultation, I may then employ you to construct a working prototype -- this phase should NOT be included in the current bid.
