Description: We need a bookkeeper to maintain our new Quickbooks Online beginning with January 2008. 90% of our statements are online; 10% you will receive by fax or email.

This project includes:

- Data entry of 12 months of data Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 2008
- Entry of a new chart of accounts from our CPA (PDF format)
- Reconciliation of your data entry, and
- Any changes that our CPA requests.

After this calendar year project is completed, we will work with you to maintain and reconcile current, "real time" records. This will be posted as a separate project. We prefer long-term relationships. Our last online bookkeeper worked for us for five years, but due to personnel changes at their firm no longer works on our account.

Although we are new to this freelance board, you may review our buyer ratings for kwatson on scriptlance dot com, which does not list bookkeeping jobs. There we have 100% perfect 10 ratings from buyers for over 150 projects, and reviews by our freelancers always list "excellent communications and fast payment." During projects we are always available to you by Yahoo IM or Skype to quickly answer your questions.

Description: I need part-time (less than 10 hrs per month) bookkeeping services for 2 small but growing environmental companies.  One (KEH Consulting) is a single member LLC that offers wetlands, forestry and critical area consulting ecological assessment services in the Baltimore, Maryland area.  KEH needs to be setup in Quickbooks and a little time needed to pay bills.  Second company is a 2 person LLC (BlueWing) that is focusing on 2 products - Floating Island wetlands and CCEIS.  BlueWing is the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast US distributor for Floating Islands and has begun generating revenues from this line of business.  We will need services to update past Quickbooks records and keep records current.  Monthly bill payment for utilities, credit cards, sales tax, legal and other bills are needed.  CCEIS is a web based construction site monitoring product that is in beta testing and should generate monthly subscription fees and initial project setup fees.  Assistance will also be needed to prepare Quickbooks files for both companies at tax time, with the option for the provider to prepare returns if the pricing is right.  I would prefer a local service provider in the Columbia or Ellicott City, MD areas and would like to try the services for 3 months with the possibility of discussing a longer term arrangement if desired by both parties.
