EnergyLink Ltd. are looking for an experienced writer to produce a steady stream of news articles relating to Energy Efficient products and services.

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in writing about this subject area, as we have used writers in the past who struggle to produce accurate copy. A passion and enthusiasm for Energy Efficiency would be a bonus! We'd also prefer someone who is UK based so that the material is relevant to the technologies and Government policies in use.

Subject areas include:

- Home Insulation (Loft & Cavity Wall)
- Double Glazing
- Switching Gas & Electricity Suppliers
- Solar Energy

Description: I am a web designer (12 years in business) with a need for articles to help with SEO support for client's websites. Some articles will be posted on the websites themselves, others will be submitted to Article Directories. Let me give you some background before giving specific details for pricing.

I have 2 projects that need articles written with ORIGINAL CONTENT (I will be using copyscape to check) and I am seeking a writer with VERY GOOD English writing skills. The target audience in the majority of cases will be people living in the UK. I expect the selected person will probably be based in the UK/USA/Canada. Please do not waste your time if your English grammar and spelling is not TOP CLASS. You will also need to demonstrate that you have written SEO articles for previous clients.  

Project 1 is for a website hiring out motorhomes. Needs eight 4-part article sets per month, ongoing. Content style would be promotional/opinion – based on keyword phrases supplied. Website live and in need of promotion now.

Project 2 is a website selling school yearbooks. Needs eight 4-part article sets per month, ongoing. Content style would be promotional/opinion/informative/descriptive - based on keyword phrases supplied. This site should launch in May 2010.

All current projects will be ongoing and require a number of articles per month - indefinitely. When I say "articles" I really mean SETS of articles. I will need one 500 word article for the website and three 500 word variations for publication in online Article Directories. All 500 word versions need to be a minimum of 30% different from each other, so as to avoid duplicate content penalties. This ‘spinning’ process is further explained in the document “How-to-Spin-Articles” attached.

A typical brief is described in detail on the attached document. You will see I list a primary keyword phrase and then 2 secondary ones which need to appear a couple of times.

I have also uploaded an example of an article written to that specification, showing how it is presented to me. I am happy to receive articles in MS Word format.

So, prices invited for:
Sets of 4 = a 500 word main webpage articles PLUS three 500 word variations ‘spun’ from the webpage one, following the guidelines in the attached brief. Please remember the 500 word versions ARE NOT WRITTEN FROM SCRATCH, but heavily based on the 800 word ‘parent’ article. Target price per set of 4 is $15.

PLEASE NOTE – I am happy to accept bids on separate projects. Some writers may feel better qualified to handle some projects over others. There will be other projects that emerge and it would be good to have a very small team of regular writers to cover those too.

Finally, remember that I will want to see examples of SEO articles that you have previously written. This is ESSENTIAL.

Full copyright of the articles will be transferred to us on completed payment of the project.

Strict Requirements:
- High standard of written English (native English writers preferred)
- Articles will generally be about 300-400 words long
- Articles to be written in a conversational and informative tone
- Able to insert keywords into the title with approx 3 - 5% article density for SEO purposes
- Include integrated affiliate links (which I'll provide)

Preferred:
- We will give you some URLs for simple research, it's a plus if you can research independently as well
- Some articles may need to be spun/rewritten using the Unique Article Wizard format, preference will be given to those who are familiar with this format and/or are familiar with rewriting articles.
